1. People who are inconsistent in the way they treat you.I love this post. It is beyond being subtle in describing some friends out there. But I almost fell off my chair when I saw a comment from a reader:
2. People who treat you differently from how they treat their other friends.
3. People who do not know how to be thankful.
4. People who do not give back.
5. People who make you feel like you need to impress them.
6. People who only text/call you when they need something from you.
7. People who don’t invite you to their weekend activities.

Diretcho and prangka ala VP Binay to PNoy and Pimenel.
VP Binay is really nailing it with his very brief, straightforward and concise letters lately. Days ago, it was his resignation letter to Pres. Aquino with just 13 words (and was bashed with netizens of Aquino’s virtual reply as: ‘K’.). 'Diretsuhanay' via formal correspondence. Now, he wrote Senator Pimentel with a direct- Magpakalalaki ka! ..all via formal correspondence.

Neurotransmitters from the intestinal microbiota! 'Green-minded' theory proven!?
Yes, you have read it right, a recent study of Mark Lyte involving feces of monkeys reveal that neurochemicals like dopamine, serotonin and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) produced by enormous gut microbiota.
Eighteen vials were rocking back and forth on a squeaky mechanical device the shape of a butcher scale, and Mark Lyte was beside himself with excitement. ‘‘We actually got some fresh yesterday — freshly frozen,’’ Lyte said to a lab technician. Each vial contained a tiny nugget of monkey feces that were collected at the Harlow primate lab near Madison, Wis., the day before and shipped to Lyte’s lab on the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center campus in Abilene, Tex.
Inside a closet-size room at his lab that afternoon, Lyte hunched over to inspect the vials, whose samples had been spun down in a centrifuge to a radiant, golden broth. Lyte, 60, spoke fast and emphatically. ‘‘You wouldn’t believe what we’re extracting out of poop,’’ he told me. ‘‘We found that the guys here in the gut make neurochemicals. We didn’t know that. Now, if they make this stuff here, does it have an influence there? Guess what? We make the same stuff. Maybe all this communication has an influence on our behavior.’’
Given the extent to which bacteria are now understood to influence human physiology, it is hardly surprising that scientists have turned their attention to how bacteria might affect the brain. Micro-organisms in our gut secrete a profound number of chemicals, and researchers like Lyte have found that among those chemicals are the same substances used by our neurons to communicate and regulate mood, like dopamine, serotonin and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). These, in turn, appear to play a function in intestinal disorders, which coincide with high levels of major depression and anxiety. Last year, for example, a group in Norway examined feces from 55 people and found certain bacteria were more likely to be associated with depressive patients.
At the time of my visit to Lyte’s lab, he was nearly six months into an experiment that he hoped would better establish how certain gut microbes influenced the brain, functioning, in effect, as psychiatric drugs. He was currently compiling a list of the psychoactive compounds found in the feces of infant monkeys. Once that was established, he planned to transfer the microbes found in one newborn monkey’s feces into another’s intestine, so that the recipient would end up with a completely new set of microbes — and, if all went as predicted, change their neurodevelopment. The experiment reflected an intriguing hypothesis. Anxiety, depression and several pediatric disorders, including autism and hyperactivity, have been linked with gastrointestinal abnormalities. Microbial transplants were not invasive brain surgery, and that was the point: Changing a patient’s bacteria might be difficult but it still seemed more straightforward than altering his genes.
When Lyte began his work on the link between microbes and the brain three decades ago, it was dismissed as a curiosity. By contrast, last September, the National Institute of Mental Health awarded four grants worth up to $1 million each to spur new research on the gut microbiome’s role in mental disorders, affirming the legitimacy of a field that had long struggled to attract serious scientific credibility. Lyte and one of his longtime colleagues, Christopher Coe, at the Harlow primate lab, received one of the four. ‘‘What Mark proposed going back almost 25 years now has come to fruition,’’ Coe told me. ‘‘Now what we’re struggling to do is to figure out the logic of it.’’ It seems plausible, if not yet proved, that we might one day use microbes to diagnose neurodevelopmental disorders, treat mental illnesses and perhaps even fix them in the brain.

Saw this video in my feed at Facebook, and so I tried to watch it not because of the characters but the comments that its was really funny, and will drain tears out of Laughing out Loud. This is a crazy music video which showed nothing but a*s. But on a lighter note, try to focus on the lyrics and not on her behind because its quite true, its tacking about the realities of the modern world like plastic surgery, botox injection therapy and other aesthetics.

Songs of Rice (How rice in Thailand taste like that of the Philippines)
I love diverse cultures and international relations. This topic and field is very delighting for me because I am a dreamer, supposed to be a traveller but because of sickness, got grounded inside my home--literally.
What I like most about this movie is its relation and similarity with Filipino culture. It seems their rice is of the same taste as ours. Thailand is one of the countries I dream to visit, and I think this nation has good and brilliant minds too in the field of mass communications and international documentaries. On the other hand, I messaged the director of this film, The Songs of Rice:

Falling in love with your bestfriend. Take note, it's 'your' bestfriend.
"Best Friend" by Jason Chen
Do you remember when I said I'd always be there.
Ever since we were ten, baby.
When we were out on the playground playing pretend.
Didn't know it back then.
Now I realize you were the only one
It's never too late to show it.
Grow old together,
Have feelings we had before
Back when we were so innocent
[Chorus:]
I pray for all your love
Girl our love is so unreal
I just wanna reach and touch you, squeeze you, somebody pinch me
This is something like a movie
And I dont know how it ends girl
But I fell in love with my Best Friend
Through all the dudes that came by
And all the nights that you'd cry.
Girl I was there right by your side.
How could I tell you I loved you
When you were so happy
With some other guy?
Now I realize you were the only one
It's never too late to show it.
Grow old together,
Have feelings we had before
When we were so innocent.
[Chorus]
I know it sounds crazy
That you'd be my baby.
Girl you mean that much to me.
And nothing compares when
We're lighter than air and
We don't wanna come back down.
And I don't wanna ruin what we have
Love is so unpredictable.
But it's the risk that I'm taking, hoping, praying
You'd fall in love with your best friend
[Chorus x2]
I remember when I said I'd always be there
Ever since we were ten baby.

I was intrigued by the poster of this movie. It was graphic in the sense that it’s an illustration of a human hand, onto performing a gesture. Hilariously funny, quite ridiculous but in a romantic way, kinda’ weird and sensual too.

An Incident Report (IR) may save your bad day at the railway.
When in Manila-- MRT is a tourist attraction for someone from the province. I, myself had my Manolo Days share of this experience. When I stayed at Manila for 2 months last 2009, I had to find means for faster transportation and exploration of the the city. MRT came first of my bucket list. Long lines in purchasing tickets, but seems to be in an affordable P15 price that time. Long lines are not over until you pass the security counters going to the train’s waiting bay area. Sadly, my first experience was at Taft Avenue and it was crazy and smelly. We were like sardines stucked inside a small can, and not to mention, everyone’s body odor just keep on mixing and flooding the airconditioning system. Nevertheless, it was indeed fast because there’s no traffic within the railway system. I also tried LRT with my friend, Wella and our first time was horrible--it was a lax day, without much passengers but we were lost! We were supposed to go to Bambang but we waited for the train at the wrong side. I had my share of derailments too, and it was scary.
Since 2012, lot of ranting against MRT services have made it through mainstream media. There were railway accidents, derailments, trains stucked in the middle of EDSA and the neverending long lines just won't cut off. So, I guess the government had to find some solution to this problem. Sadly, their recent solution seems to be... nonsense? I think it's inferior to think (that the MRT) that by issuing Incident Report to affected customers will solve the issue. Traffic is indeed a major problem in the megacity and the MRT and LRT are dubbed to be the fastest mode of transportation. Hence, enough attention should be given, and a collaborative effort between local city officials and MMDA should embark.
A friend of mine at Manila shared this post (below), which was interesting enough to be the mother of this post / commentary.
and I made my comment..
Here’s a CNN link about that said post.

Meet my old friend, Mr. Serotonin. It has been a while since we've parted last year.
Serotonin is an important brain chemical that helps to elevate your mood and stop you from feeling down or depressed. While there are chemical ways to increase your serotonin levels, there are also numerous natural ways too. Below is a discussion of some of the natural ways that you can boost your serotonin levels to get feeling happy, fulfilled, and energized again.
Boosting Serotonin Through Diet
- Understand the serotonin/food myths. Unfortunately, there are a lot of myths surrounding food and increased levels of serotonin. These myths include:
- Shun the simple carbs and embrace the complex carbs. Complex carbohydrates are absorbed by the body differently than simple carbohydrates. Simple carbs like white rice and white bread raise your blood levels quickly, causing a spike in insulin, which drops after a while. Complex carbs are absorbed more slowly by the body and therefore avoid the massive peaks and troughs brought upon by simple carbs.
- Avoid caffeinated foods, especially energy drinks. Caffeine suppresses serotonin, which could also help explain why it's a hunger suppressant as well. Energy drinks contain large amounts of sugar, which the body processes quickly, but which produce an energy-zapping low after the insulin has finished surging. If you have to drink caffeinated products, wait until after you've eaten, doctors recommend.
- Eat healthy fats, such as omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are hypothesized to affect the functionality of serotonin in the brain. People with low serotonin levels commonly have low DHA levels, which is an essential building block in the brain, and which needs to be replenished with foods such as fish oils, which are high in omega-3 fatty acids. Look for omega-3 fats in:
- Eat dark chocolate. Eating dark chocolate improves serotonin levels partly because of resveratrol. Resveratrol boosts both endorphins and serotonin levels. Remember to reach for dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate, as milk chocolate contains far less cocoa (the stuff that produces serotonin) than dark chocolate.
- Foods rich in tryptophan automatically boost serotonin. This is false. Most foods that contain tryptophan, an amino acid, compete with other amino acids to be absorbed by the body's transport system.[1] Eating a lot of turkey, which is rich in tryptophan, will not automatically give you more serotonin.
- Eating a lot of banana will automatically boost serotonin. Bananas do contain serotonin. That serotonin, however, is unable to cross the blood-brain barrier and be absorbed by humans.[1]
- Complex carbs include:
- Simple carbs include:
- Legumes like peas and lentils
- Whole grain breads
- Whole grain pastas
- Brown rice
- Starchy vegetables like sweet potatoes and parsnips
- White bread
- White rice
- "Normal" pasta
- Cakes, candies, and other refined sugar products
- Fish, such as salmon, and fish oils
- Nuts, seeds and seed oils, such as flax seed oil
Boosting Serotonin in Other Ways
- Exercise regularly. Exercise is a great way to boost your serotonin levels.[1] The results are clear: exercise causes an increase in tryptophan, which is a precursor to serotonin. The tryptophan persists well after exercising is finished, suggesting that mood elevation may be present for hours after the exercising has finished.
- Get enough light. Light probably helps serotonin synthesis. Research has found a positive correlation between serotonin synthesis and total hours of sunlight during the day.[1] In postmortems of humans, serotonin levels are higher during the summer months than the winter months.[8] Getting a better mood could be as easy as opening the curtains in your otherwise dark room.
- Invest in massage. Several studies show that massage therapy helps cut down the stress hormone cortisol while boosting serotonin levels and increasing dopamine.[10][11] This double-pronged benefit makes massage particularly valuable.
- Understand that stress may interfere with serotonin. Prolonged periods of stress can deplete serotonin levels.[12] Serious and systematic stress can have an impact on the body's ability to produce and synthesize serotonin. This means that you should stay away from stressful situations as much as possible, and find healthy ways to deal with stress once it comes your way.
- Relive happy memories. Though it may sound corny, reliving happy times may be enough to give your brain a serotonin boost.[9] This may directly increase serotonin levels and keep you from fixating on less happy times, if you are prone to depression. The inability to think of happier times is called "state dependent recall." If you can't think of happier times, try talking to friends or family and looking at old journals or pictures.
- Work out in at intensity levels with which you are familiar. Consistent serotonin release is linked with exercise that people feel comfortable with, not exercise that pushes people off the edge, an English study has found.[7]
- If you can't find the time to exercise regularly, try walking or 30 minutes to an hour per day. At the very least, this moderate exercise will help burn calories and boost tryptophan levels, causing an increase in serotonin.
- Get natural light during the day, not artificial light during the night. Natural, daytime sunlight is better at giving you serotonin than artificial LED, fluorescent, or UV light.[9] Getting artificial light, especially at night, has the added disadvantage of blocking melatonin production, which helps your body get a good night's sleep.
- If confronted with lifestyle stress, try practicing:
- Yoga
- Meditation
- Deep breathing exercises
- Self-expression (art)
Tips
- Eating healthy, exercising, and maintaining an optimistic outlook can do wonders for boosting your serotonin. You don't necessarily need drugs to boost serotonin.
Warnings
- Talk to your doctor if you are seriously depressed or inexplicably saddened. You may have a serious condition that needs medical intervention and/or drugs.

Meet the Mormons. Meet the singer. Listen to the song.
Everyone plays a piece, and there are melodies in each one of us; Life-- it’s glorious. (OST: Meet the Mormons)
This song summarizes the devotion and experience of our brothers and sisters who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At last, a song that’s so much pleasing to the ears, so calm, inspiring and relaxing. Indeed, no matter what distinction or reclassification of belief we have, faith believes in unity and importance of individuality for a common goal. This makes life glorious indeed. We just have to discover what part are we going to share in this journey we call life.
I was about to sleep and I saw this song on my youtube recommendations pane. Yes, I am a David Archuleta fan, and this song is a lullaby for the soul. Its very short yet it is soothing to the ears and has a touching message. This is for the Meet the Mormons documentary which tackles life and experiences of our brothers who are we commonly term as mormons.
Meet the Mormons is a feature-length documentary that examines the very diverse lives of six devout members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Filmed on location and across the globe, Meet the Mormons takes viewers on a journey into the day-to-day realities of individuals living in the U.S., Costa Rica, Nepal and beyond. From their individual passions to their daily struggles, each story paints a picture as rich and unique as the next while challenging the stereotypes that surround the Mormon faith. The film will appear in theaters across the United States beginning on October 10th, 2014. All net proceeds from the film will go to charity.

Meanwhile, the lyrics is very moving:
There are times when
You might feel aimless
And can't see the places
Where you belong
But you will find that
There is a purpose
It's been there within you
All along
And when you're near it
You can almost hear it
Its like a symphony
Just keep listening
And pretty soon you'll start
To figure out your part
Everyone plays a piece
And there are melodies
In each one of us
Oohhh its glorious
And you will know how
To let it ring out
As you discover
Who you are
Others around you
Will start to wake up
To the sounds that are
In their hearts
It's so amazing
What we're all creating
And as you feel
The notes build
Higher
You will see

After dinner, here’s a very peculiar dessert: Insidious - 3 (2015).
Insidious according to google is (adj) proceeding in a gradual, subtle way, but with harmful effects. treacherous; crafty. Also, beguiling but harmful.
This movie is the third sequel of its famous and successful startups. A horror movie that invests much on shocking and catching the audiences off guard. The story revolves around some bad spirits that aren't peaceful to wherever they are, and they tend to cause harm to the living. It seems to be an awkward choice of dessert after dinner huh? I’m just into very drastic movie genre selections lately.
Director: Leigh Whannell
Stars : Dermot Mulroney, Stefanie Scott, Angus Sampson
Description: A prequel set before the haunting of the Lambert family that reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
According to commonsensemedia, Parents need to know that Insidious: Chapter 3 is a prequel to Insidious (2010) and Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), with returning stars Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson, and Leigh Whannell. There's tons of spooky stuff -- mainly well-timed jump-scares, plus images of a scary demon attacking a teen girl and a psychic fighting with the same demon. The teen girl is hit by a car and roughed up quite a bit while wearing casts on both legs. Knives are wielded, but only a little blood is shown. Infrequent language includes one use of "f--king," one "bitch," and a few uses of "ass," plus a middle finger gesture. A teen boy has a crush on the teen heroine, but nothing comes of it. There's a joke about two teen girls being lesbians. Like most horror sequels, it's not as good as the original, but it provides enough tingles that it should be a fairly sizable draw for teen horror hounds.
The aforementioned site adds- On the downside, like the second movie, Insidious: Chapter 3 doesn't have much new to offer, and virtually all of the scares are of the jump-shock variety, with monsters appearing suddenly -- and frequently shrieking as well.
Lost in space, emerged out of a dirty lake.
I did not get the chance to watch this film at the cinema, but it's a good thing a lot of HD copies are uploaded online. Well, this entire films revolved around the story (or shall I say the epic space adventure) or just a few people. Basically Gravity is about american astronauts in outer space who were unexpectedly warned by the ground command post to abandon its mission because of the ill effects of a Russian mishap on the other side of space, involving their satellites. In an attempt to commence the evacuation or escape fast, they all end up on a freaking awful situation--literally lost in space. Well, then some of them die (actually all of them except the lead female star Sandra Bullock), who sought refuge from an abandoned Chinese space station and disembarked her way to the earth’s atmosphere. What is horrifying here is the freaking parachute that was attached to her escape vehicle--it turned out it won’t let Dr. Ryan leave the outside world. To add, she had a bad dream of Matt beside her on her near death moments. And who could ever forget the arf arf and all the woof woof barking she did? I find it awfully nonsense. Painfully, she plunged all the way down to a lake with frogs, and I thought she could have died from drowning, yet managed to escape a near death expo from outer space. In the end, she emerged out of the water, savouring the earth and air and seems to be elated that she is still alive. Hmm, 7.5/10 for me. I just don't know, it feels like there’s something wrong with this movie. Maybe the characters were just so few. The lesson of the story: Learn chinese language and writing; coz’ if she did, it could have saved her from a painful dump into the lake. Buddha was there watching her all the time.
Summary:
Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone - tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness.

So it’s originally a Japanese comic strip, adapted by the Taiwanese, and later by Koreans and translated by Filipinos. LOL
A bit of history first: It Started with a Kiss (Chinese: ę”ä½åä¹å»; pinyin: ĆzuĆ²jĆ¹ zhÄ« wÄn) is a Taiwanese drama starring Joe Cheng,Ariel Lin and Jiro Wang of Fahrenheit. It was based on the first 10 volumes of the Japanese manga series Itazura na Kiss (ć¤ćæćŗć©ćŖKiss, Mischievous Kiss) written by Kaoru Tada. It was produced by Comic Productions and directed by Chu Yu-ning .
It was broadcast on free-to-air China Television (CTV) (äøč¦) in Taiwan from 25 September 2005 to 12 February 2006, every Sunday at 22:00 and cable TV Gala Television (GTV) Variety Show/CH 28 (å «å¤§ē¶åå°) 31 September 2005 to 18 February 2006, every Saturday from 21:30 to 23:00.
It is the second live-action television adaptation following the Japanese adaptation also titled Itazura na Kiss and followed by its sequel They Kiss Again in 2007 and South Korean adaptation Playful Kiss in 2010. It Started With a Kiss also aired on Hawaii's KIKU Television weekly on Saturdays at 6:00.
Seriously, I really enjoyed watching this asian comic drama. Its very funny, quite of a nonsense but you'll end up laughing. Also, it was dubbed by filipinos in its Philippine airing so a lot of pinoys can already relate and understand. I watched the series one boring night and still, it made me laugh. Here’s my facebook post:
By the way, these are their fanpages:
Father's Day coffee.
Last summer, pap’s got an extra tall coffee (for free) from SB. He must have kept that cup, so I’ll find it this Father’s Day. (or maybe, I’ll just brew him one).
Better version: All of Me - John Legend (Cover By Daryl Ong)
I think this version that I found on Youtube is better than the original. Well, just saying. Meanwhile Daryl Ong is a product of numerous local singing contests, to which The Voice PH of ABS-CBN was the most celebrated one. Great voice, nice talent and awesome technique, I must say. Too bad I'm not good in singing, or it is surely better that way.

Angels and Demons: Classic yet unorthodox; Thought provoking yet untrue.
Watching A&D again on a rainy aftee. #DanBrown #novel #AandD #HD #streaming

It is indeed nostalgic to watch this movie again, although I can recall viewing much of the movie highlights and trailers online, about half a decade ago. This movie had so much criticism and blatant prohibition, which I guess just added to the audience adrenaline to wait and watch for its release last 2009.
Summary from megashare.sc states: Despite his notorious relationship with the Church, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is once again called upon to decipher the clues to a catastrophic conspiracy. The Pope has died, and before conclave can begin to determine his successor, the four preferitti (primary hopefuls for the papacy) are kidnapped. An ominous threat of their hourly demise, along with the complete annihilation of Vatican City, is issued as an elaborate revenge scheme for a persecuted group known as the Illuminati. With their meager time limit steadily counting down, Langdon, accompanied by beautiful physicist Vittoria Vetra, must travel throughout Rome to unravel the carefully hidden signs that will lead them to a terrifying adversary, a harrowing discovery, and the shocking truth
Angels & Demons is a 2009 American thriller film directed by Ron Howard and based on Dan Brown's novel of the same name. It is the sequel to the 2006 film, The Da Vinci Code, also directed by Ron Howard. The novel was published first and The Da Vinci Code followed it. Filming of Angels & Demons took place in Rome, Italy, and the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California.
Tom Hanks reprises his role as Professor Robert Langdon. Producer Brian Grazer, composer Hans Zimmer and screenwriter Akiva Goldsman also return, with David Koepp coming on board to help the latter. As of 2015, the film remains Hanks' only live-action sequel. (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angels_%26_Demons_(film)
My favorite character of the story, awkwardly, is the carmelengo himself, Ewan McGregor. The role as the Vatican’s carmelengo means that he is the administrator of the property and revenues of the Holy See. Formerly, his responsibilities included the fiscal administration of the Patrimony of St. Peter. As regulated in the Apostolic Constitution Pastor Bonus, the Camerlengo is always a Cardinal, though this was not the case prior to the 15th century, according to the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camerlengo_of_the_Holy_Roman_Church . He was so good at his role, that it was so convincing. Later towards the end of the movie, its a surprise that he was the villain although he seem to have faked the heroic helicopter jump to save Vatican from undue annihilation. For Dan Brown, as always, I think he wrote a very captivating novel which made it to the silver screen.
On the other hand, Prospect Magazine of UK commented: One online article says: As a believer in the enjoyably awful, I would recommend this book wholeheartedly if I could. But it is mainly just awful. Nevertheless it is still almost worth reading. In the publishing world they have a term, “pull line,” which means the few words of apparent praise that you can sometimes pull out of a review however hostile. Let me supply that pull line straight away, ready furnished with quotation marks: “The author of The Da Vinci Code has done it again.”, as published in their website: http://www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/arts-and-books/dan-brown-inferno-clive-james-da-vinci-code
By the way, I am a Catholic, and will always be a believer and follower of the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church-- well, to the best that I can. I watched this movie online through my megashare.sc account, dedicated to free video streaming.

R18: Absurd and illogical Jap Video, U gonna say: WTH!?
This video is made by Harrison Kam from Youtube. His channel URL is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsdbVbS-xYP4TGT7n3xrBww just in case you wanna check out some of his cool uploads. I was at first browsing Ryan Higa's videos because I enjoyed watching them (http://www.youtube.com/nigahiga), and the fact that they are asian looking, it makes me so comfortable listening to what the say. Yes, its basically pointless to upload random, nonsense videos but I find them all interesting, and in fact very amusing.
In this youtube clip, Justin is showing candid reactions upon watching an asian animated music video from Japan, which you cannot access as of now because Youtube has banned it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZDdvwG0lu8) due to censorship issues. However, because of Justin's February video clip, you can have a glimpse of the actual absurd animated clip. Yes, it is R18 because it is sexual and pretty much nonsense. The music on playback is quite nice though, 4 in a 0-10 scale of social acceptance. In this nasty video, there are scenes of vomiting, menstruation, sexual acts and the like--but not really graphic. They must have attempted to make it subtle through the music and the fast paced transitions but it's really near to pornographic, but is not capable to arouse. (I guess). Maybe you'll end up disgusted. The japanese creators were really creative for this disturbing anime. Well, of course pornographic animes are already rampant in the WWW, but this one I guess, made it to the mainstream as it became popular for some youtubers. By the way, the title is ME! ME! ME! (Like, what the heck does that suppose to mean? LOL)
Warning: R18

We will see ourselves clearer on a broken mirror.
(via https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZLUa8JUR18)
Sometimes, we look better in front of a broken mirror than a completely clear one: Bruno Mars nailed it with the best lyrics ever!
Mirror by Lil Wayne and Bruno Mars is such a very meaningful song. Indeed, subtle yet compelling messages are shown in the music video, and it really caught my attention (beyond the nice glittery braces of Lil Wayne). You will be surprised with a bunch of catholic symbolisms presented in its video. The message of the song is also inspiring (for me) because it has depicted man's weaknesses which has been caused by pride and sin, as always. The start of the video showed Lil Wayne's eyelids tattooed with "Fear God", and thats says it all.
I just happen to come across this video on Youtube because I was researching on some religious fictions i.e. Accra. Seeing that it’s Lil Wayne feat. Bruno Mars, I did not doubt to give it a try. I was indeed amazed how the entire video was presented to the audience, with a simple theme of guilt, repentance and resilience. I was struck of Lil Wayne gesturing the sign of the cross and a red paint in an attempt to symbolize blood in his hands. Redemption and absolution comes after repentance and acceptance of God’s mercy and unending grace, that is the reason why I immediately loved this music video. All of us had been into our own mistakes and falls in life, but later we realize that we need to fix ourselves, and pick up the broken pieces and live again, righteously.
Indeed, sometimes, we seem to see our reflections clearer in a broken mirror than a new one, its because we only see ourselves (re examine) during the times that we become broken into different pieces, like a broken mirror. By then, we realize the mistakes we have done, and on how our friends, family and faith has guided us back to reality.
Here is the complete lyrics, part written by Bruno Mars, a filipino blood.
With everything happening today
You don't know whether you're coming or going
But you think that you're on your way
Life lined up on the mirror don't blow it
Look at me when I'm talkin' to you
You looking at me but I'm lookin' through you
I see the blood in your eyes
I see the love in disguise
I see the pain hidden in your pride
I see you're not satisfied
And I don't see nobody else
I see myself I'm looking at the
Mirror on the wall, here we are again
Through my rise and fall
You've been my only friend
You told me that they can understand the man I am
So why are we here talkin' to each other again
Uh, I see the truth in your lies
I see nobody by your side
But I'm with you when you re all alone
And you correct me when I'm lookin' wrong
I see that guilt beneath the shame
I see your soul through your window pain
I see the scars that remain
I see you Wayne, I'm lookin' at the
Mirror on the wall, here we are again
Through my rise and fall
You've been my only friend
You told me that they can understand the man I am
So why are we here talkin' to each other again
Lookin' at me now I can see my past
Damn I look just like my fuckin' dad
Light it up, that's smoke at mirrors
I even look good in the broken mirror
I see my momma smile that's a blessin'
I see the change, I see the message
And no message could been any clearer
So I'm starting with the man in the
Mirror on the wall, (MJ taught me that)
Here we are again
Through my rise and fall
You've been my only friend (take them to mars man)
You told me that they can understand the man I am
So why are we here talkin' to each other again
Uh
Mirror on the wall, here we are again
Through my rise and fall
You've been my only friend
You told me that they can understand the man I am
So why are we here talkin' to each other again
Mirror on the wall
Hey BP, looks like I did take 'em to mars this time
So why are we talkin' to each other again

Bruno Mars really nailed it with this wonderful song and lyrics.
Do you know Snackee? He was McDo and Jobee's genetic mixture.
How Snackee has withstood the drastic economic demands and ‘diverse taste’ of Binalbaganons.
Foremost this is a long overdue commentary about my hometown, Binalbagan. I left this town for almost a decade to study in Bacolod (capital), and only went home for New Year’s eve since 2004. Not until 2015 when I resigned from my job as a nurse, and so I had lots of flashbacks of this placed dubbed as “Banwang Panganay” (the first town to have been established by spaniards eons ago). Well, take a look at this picture below. Hello rich kids, that is Snackee. He just happen to have lived a low profile life, while the entire world was busy collecting happy meals and eating chicken joy. In our small town, Binalbagan, much of my childhood memories were contributed by Snackee. He does not only offer snacks, rather, meals and a lot of space to play. Okay, it seems to be a copycat of the famous Mc Do Lacson branch with huge play place in the center. (I wonder where the heck did they dump those colorful plastic tunnels).
Look at Snackee’s face, his hair and nose looks like Ronald’s and his eyes and physique is that of the happy bee, Jollibee. He is happy. |
Snackee for me is a symbol of resilience. Amidst may competitors in the fastfood business, it has remained operational, discreet and true to its purpose--to provide affordable food. Binalbaganons for me are resilient too, amidst all the trials we encountered, we have kept our faith in God and trust to our individual families.
Come and visit Binalbagan, 6107. It's just an hour and a half trip from Bacolod City through the popular Ceres bus, or merely an hour using a private car. Our fiesta is on May 15th, celebrated with an annual Balbagan Festival, and our patron saint is St. Isidore / 'San Isidro Labrador' (the parish church is located just accross the town hall).
